We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In order to process your order, update you on its progress or contact you with queries, we ask for your full name, e-mail address, telephone number, billing address, delivery address, product selections, credit card or other payment information. At no point do we store you credit or debit card numbers on our server.
We also collect information about the pages you visit on our website, cookies for Facebook, Google Analytics and Zendesk Chat, IP address, your browser type, OS, the country where your Internet service provider is located, the pages of our site that were viewed during your visit, and how long you stayed. This information is used for market research, website analysis, online chat, order updates, website performance tracking and advertising of products through Google and Facebook. With your explicit permission and consent, we may also use your email address to contact you with discounts, special offers, notify you of products back in stock and promotional emails, although this can be opted out of at any time.
We will e-mail and/or telephone you to process and update you on your order and afterwards only if you have given your consent.
The information we hold (which does NOT include any financial information such as credit/debit card details) will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by logging into your account or by emailing us info@hobbymounts.co.uk. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the relevant laws in place at the time.
Credit/Debit Card Security
All payments are processed securely using Thawte 128 bit encryption, at no time do we have access to your credit or debit card details. These are collected securely on our behalf by SagePay and/or PayPal. We at no time store any credit or debit card information.
